The Salesforce Admin Role

The Salesforce Administrator will support the day-to-day running and continued improvement of the organisation's Salesforce environment.

The role combines operational administration, user support and the delivery of solutions using Salesforce Flow and standard configuration. The successful candidate will work directly with users to understand requirements, investigate issues, build and test changes, and help people use Salesforce effectively.

The role will work across a broad Salesforce estate. Strong core Salesforce administration and declarative skills are more important than previous experience with every product we use.

What You Will Do As Our Salesforce Admin

After Onboarding

  • Handle routine Salesforce administration and support.
  • Design, build, test and troubleshoot Salesforce flows and other declarative configuration.
  • Gather and clarify requirements.
  • Create useful reports and dashboards.
  • Test changes and support users through user acceptance testing.
  • Recognise when a change is high-risk, code-related or requires architectural input, and escalate it at the right point.

Operational Support

  • Handle user requests, day-to-day issues and configuration-related defects.
  • Manage users, profiles, permission sets, roles, queues, sharing rules and access.
  • Create and update reports and dashboards.
  • Investigate automation, data, access and reporting issues.
  • Use SOQL to investigate and validate Salesforce data.
  • Maintain objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules and other configuration.
  • Answer user questions and help people use Salesforce effectively.
  • Provide user training and guidance, including training for engineering teams where needed.
  • Support day-to-day Marketing Cloud Advanced administration, including segments, campaigns and emails.
  • Support finance-related Salesforce configuration, including products, price books and related processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
