Salesforce Administrator

Chester | Hybrid – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday onsite
Up to £63,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We're working with a major, established UK organisation looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to take real ownership of a business-critical Salesforce platform.

Salesforce sits at the heart of the organisation and is used extensively across multiple business functions. They're investing in the platform, how it's used and what it can deliver – and they need someone who can help drive that forward.

You'll become one of the key Salesforce experts within the business, combining hands-on administration and configuration with process improvement, automation and stakeholder engagement.

If you want ownership rather than just another Salesforce support role, then this is definitely worth speaking to us about.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day health, optimisation and continuous improvement of the Salesforce environment, including:
    • Building and improving Salesforce Flows and automation
    • Configuring custom objects, Lightning pages, record types and validation rules
    • Managing users, permissions, security and access
    • Creating meaningful reports and dashboards
    • Troubleshooting issues and supporting Salesforce users
    • Working directly with stakeholders to understand problems and turn them into scalable Salesforce solutions
    • Supporting testing, releases and change management
    • Reviewing Salesforce seasonal releases and identifying functionality worth adopting
    • Proactively identifying opportunities to automate processes and improve how the business operates

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Crucially, they don't just want someone to maintain Salesforce. They want someone who will continually ask:

"How can we make this better?"

What we're looking for:

  • You'll already have solid commercial experience administering Salesforce within a live business environment and be comfortable taking ownership of a platform.
  • You'll ideally bring:
    • Strong hands-on Salesforce Administration experience
    • Excellent knowledge of Flows and automation
    • Salesforce Lightning experience
    • Reports & Dashboards
    • Validation Rules
    • User, Permission Set and security management
    • Experience of release management and change control
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
    • The confidence to work autonomously and challenge existing processes where something can be improved

Exposure to Apex, Einstein Analytics, Conga, DocuSign or Marketing Cloud would be useful, but isn't essential. Experience within a complex, regulated or high-volume environment would also be advantageous.

Why this role?

  • Because you'll have the opportunity to genuinely own and influence Salesforce, rather than simply administer somebody else's roadmap.
  • You'll be joining an established organisation with significant investment in technology, working alongside experienced technology professionals while having direct exposure to stakeholders across the business.

You'll have the freedom to identify improvements, introduce better ways of working and help shape where the Salesforce platform goes next.

Up to £63,000 + bonus + excellent benefits.

The role is based in Chester, with three days per week onsite – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

If you're an experienced Salesforce Administrator who wants more ownership, more influence and the opportunity to make a visible impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now or speak to us for a confidential conversation, but you won't want to miss this one.
