Salesforce Architect โ€“ Financial Services Cloud (FSC)

๐Ÿ“ Location: Remote (UK)
๐Ÿ’ผ Contract: Fractional (20 hours per week)
๐Ÿ’ฐ Rate: ยฃ450โ€“ยฃ475 per day
๐Ÿ“‘ Contract Type: Outside IR35

We are currently seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect with strong Financial Services Cloud (FSC) experience to support our client on a fractional contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative Salesforce professional who enjoys partnering with clients, shaping solution architecture, and leading the successful delivery of Salesforce programmes within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud solutions aligned to business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on Salesforce capabilities, best practices, and roadmap planning.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops to gather business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solution designs.
  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership to development and delivery teams, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices.
  • Review solution designs, configurations, integrations, and custom developments to ensure quality and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, and client stakeholders throughout delivery.
  • Support data migration, integration strategy, and system architecture discussions where required.
  • Identify project risks, technical dependencies, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure solutions meet governance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in client steering meetings and provide regular project updates and architectural recommendations.
  • Mentor consultants and developers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, new FSC functionality, and industry best practices.

  • Proven experience working as a Salesforce Architect or Senior Salesforce Consultant with architecture responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience delivering at least 2โ€“3 Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, solution design principles, and implementation methodologies.
  • Experience engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, define solution roadmaps, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within distributed project teams.

Desirable

  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Previous consulting or professional services experience.
  • Experience working within financial services organisations.
