Salesforce Solution Architect – Financial Services
London (Hybrid - 2 days a week) | £100k–£120k + 20% bonus
A leading specialist consultancy within the Asset & Wealth Management sector is continuing to grow its Salesforce practice and is looking for experienced Salesforce Solution Architects to join the team.
The company have over 20+ years on the market and have grown the team to over 1,500 experts globally.
The Role:
You'll sit at the intersection of Salesforce architecture, technical leadership and client consulting, working with major Financial Services organisations on complex transformation programmes.
You'll work directly with senior stakeholders, including Heads of Technology, Heads of Change, and CTO-level audiences, helping clients make important technology decisions and translating business challenges into solutions that can actually be delivered.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the architecture and technical direction of complex Salesforce transformation programmes
- Designing solutions across Sales, Marketing and Service, with a particular focus on Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
- Leading technical workstreams and development teams
- Running client workshops, discovery sessions and solutioning discussions
- Providing senior technical advice and challenging clients where appropriate
- Mentoring and developing Salesforce consultants and developers
- Supporting pre-sales, proposals and account growth
- Contributing to internal accelerators, reusable assets and technical best practice

The role is primarily focused on architecture, technical leadership, team management and client engagement, with around 20% hands-on development when complex technical challenges require it.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for a technically credible Salesforce Architect who can also operate confidently in front of senior clients.
Essential:
- 5+ years' experience in Salesforce architecture, solution design and implementation
- Strong Financial Services experience - Ideally as a genuine FS specialist
- Strong Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) experience
- Strong technical understanding of how Salesforce solutions are built and integrated
- Experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce APIs and Flow
- Experience with integrations, APIs, ETL/ELT and iPaaS technologies such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato or Azure Data Factory
- Experience with Salesforce CI/CD and SDLC tooling such as Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, GitHub or Jenkins
- Proven experience leading technical teams or development workstreams
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:
- Finance or Asset/Wealth Management experience
- Experience with Data 360, Agentforce, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud or CRM Analytics
- Pre-sales / solution consulting experience
- Experience creating technical accelerators or reusable IP
- Broader understanding of the Sales, Marketing and Digital technology ecosystem
- Enterprise Architect-level experience
Your Profile:
This is not a role for an architect who prefers to stay behind the screen.
We're looking for someone who is polished, articulate, commercially aware and confident working with senior clients.
You should enjoy solving ambiguous business problems, leading teams, challenging assumptions and turning strategy into technology that gets delivered.
You'll also have the opportunity to help shape a growing Salesforce practice, develop internal IP and progress towards becoming a trusted technology adviser to senior Financial Services clients.
