About Loop Horizon

Loop Horizon is a boutique consultancy, providing expert advice and services to world leading brands to assist their transition to a data-driven marketing future. With specialists in Digital, Data & Analytics, MarTech and Marketing, we are predominantly ex-client side. Having delivered data-driven marketing before enables our clients to deliver more, faster and avoid missteps. Our success is built through enduring relationships with our clients by focussing on outcome-based deliverables. We focus on enabling clients with data and technology capability and supporting their internal teams through strategy, planning, delivery and adopting new ways of working.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Architect specialising in Marketing Cloud and Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) to join our Salesforce consulting practice. The role will be responsible for shaping and delivering scalable, secure and effective Salesforce marketing and customer data solutions for our clients. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to understand their customer engagement ambitions, translate these into an appropriate architecture, and provide technical leadership from early discovery and solution design through to implementation and optimisation. You will bring deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ideally Marketing Cloud Next Advanced, together with strong knowledge of Data 360 and customer data architecture. You will understand how customer, behavioural and transactional data can be unified, governed and activated to deliver personalised experiences across marketing channels. You will also play a key role in client workshops, solution assurance, pre-sales activities and developing the capability of our wider Salesforce team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data 360 solutions, translating client marketing technology, customer data and personalisation strategy into target architectures, roadmaps and Marketing Cloud/Data 360 solution designs (customer journey orchestration, data models, identity resolution, unified profiles, segmentation and activation).
  • Design and oversee deployment of a composable architecture in which Data 360 integrates directly with the enterprise data warehouse and wider enterprise platforms, including ecommerce and third-party marketing technologies.
  • Define patterns for batch, near-real-time and real-time data integration and activation, and establish data architecture and governance principles covering identity, consent, privacy, retention, data quality and security.
  • Lead discovery and architecture workshops with stakeholders, advise on the division of responsibilities across the Data 360, Marketing Cloud and wider enterprise landscape, and produce high-quality architecture deliverables (solution designs, integration designs, data models, diagrams, decision records and roadmaps).
  • Provide technical leadership and design authority throughout delivery, reviewing low-level solution designs and implementation approaches for adherence to best practice, and identifying architectural risks, dependencies and non-functional requirements early.
  • Advise on platform scalability, performance, maintainability and cost, support pre-sales activities (estimations, proposals, statements of work), and present proposed solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders including senior client leadership.
  • Work closely with the Salesforce Data Lead to design and deploy the Salesforce data model underpinning marketing campaign execution across Email, SMS & Push.
  • Ensure customer and campaign data is syndicated across paid media, social platforms and web personalisation engines, and help design best-in-class integrated customer journeys across all relevant channels.
  • Stay current with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data 360 product roadmap, and mentor and coach members of the Salesforce practice, contributing to reusable architecture patterns, accelerators and delivery standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
