Role Description

The Salesforce Architect is a full-time role, based in the UK, responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions. This role involves:

  • Translating business requirements into robust technical architectures
  • Defining integration patterns
  • Ensuring best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Guiding development teams on Salesforce.com configuration and custom development
  • Reviewing solution designs and code
  • Optimising system performance and security

The Salesforce Architect partners closely with stakeholders to:

  • Conduct workshops
  • Document technical specifications
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery from discovery through deployment

The role also includes:

  • Mentoring team members
  • Staying current with Salesforce releases
  • Proactively recommending improvements to existing solutions

Qualifications

  • Strong Salesforce.com platform expertise, including solution design, configuration, and integration.
  • Hands-on Salesforce.com Development skills, including Visualforce Pages and Lightning Web Components.
  • Solid Salesforce.com Administration capabilities, including user management, security, and configuration.
  • Experience architecting scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions in complex environments.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Platform Developer are highly beneficial.
  • Experience working in consultancy or multi-client environments, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead technical teams, mentor developers and administrators, and enforce coding and configuration standards.
