Lead Salesforce Solution Architect & Developer

6 Month Contract | Likely Long-Term Extension | Hybrid (Remote with occasional office visits) | £600-£650

Our client is embarking on a major transformation programme, replacing a core legacy platform with a modern Salesforce-based solution supporting its operations.

They are seeking a Lead Salesforce Solution Architect & Developer who can provide architectural leadership whilst remaining actively hands-on in the design, build and delivery of Salesforce solutions.

This is not a pure architecture role. Candidates must have substantial recent Salesforce development experience and be comfortable personally delivering production-quality solutions.

The Role

Working within a blended Agile delivery team comprising NEBOSH and a Salesforce implementation partner, you will:

  • Own end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture
  • Provide technical leadership across product delivery teams
  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions using configuration and custom development
  • Review partner designs and challenge technical decisions where appropriate
  • Support backlog refinement, estimation and solution design
  • Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practice
  • Help establish Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD capabilities
  • Coach and mentor internal team members

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
