Salesforce Technical Business Analyst
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Non Profit organisation, who are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Business Analyst who enjoys getting under the skin of business problems, translating them into effective technology solutions, and working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
You'll play a key role across discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training and platform optimisation, working across a diverse portfolio of SaaS platforms rather than focusing solely on Salesforce.
The Role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will lead discovery activities with stakeholders across the organisation, understanding how teams currently work, identifying pain points and designing improved future-state processes.
You'll translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories and process maps, while also getting hands-on with SaaS platform configuration, testing and user adoption.
The role would suit someone who enjoys being the bridge between business and technology and who can confidently manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and user research to understand business challenges and requirements.
- Translate non-technical requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories.
- Map current As-Is processes and design To-Be workflows and solutions.
- Create detailed process maps, technical documentation and system specifications.
- Work across a diverse portfolio of SaaS platforms, including their back-end administration.
- Configure workflows, permissions, custom fields and automation to improve business processes.
- Design, coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Produce clear user guides, training materials and implementation documentation.
- Deliver training and support initiatives that drive successful system adoption.
- Act as a technical escalation point, investigating system issues and assessing their operational impact.
- Work collaboratively within cross-functional Agile teams.
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement and ongoing prioritisation.
- Identify quick-win automations and opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Manage multiple competing requests and priorities across different operational departments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
