We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions and support successful delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and the wider Salesforce platform. The role covers requirements elicitation, process analysis, functional solution support, backlog management, testing coordination, release support and user adoption. You will work closely with Salesforce Architects, Developers, QA teams and Product Owners in an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges and opportunities.
- Lead requirement-gathering workshops, interviews and discovery sessions.
- Create and maintain business and functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business requirements into Salesforce functional solutions.
- Develop process flows, use cases, wireframes and business process maps.
- Partner with Salesforce Architects, Developers, QA teams and Product Owners.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos and retrospectives.
- Maintain requirements traceability through development, testing and deployment.
- Coordinate UAT, defect management and business sign-off.
- Support release planning, deployment validation and post-production stabilisation.
- Identify process optimisation opportunities and encourage Salesforce best-practice adoption.
- Assist with change management, training and user adoption initiatives.

What We're Looking For
- Considerable overall IT experience, including Agile Salesforce delivery programmes.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- Understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, flows and the security model.
- Knowledge of Salesforce integrations and data migration concepts.
- Proven requirements gathering, analysis, process mapping and workflow analysis skills.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with backlog management, gap analysis, defect triage and issue resolution.
- A proven record of gathering, documenting and delivering Salesforce business requirements.

Desirable Experience
- Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst certification.
- Experience with CPQ, Field Service, Experience Cloud or Industries/Vlocity.
- Knowledge of APIs and integration patterns.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar application lifecycle management tools.
- Exposure to data analytics and reporting.
