Salesforce Commerce Architect
📍 London or Manchester (Hybrid)
💷 £85,000 - £95,000 Base + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
We're exclusively supporting a global consulting and digital transformation business in their search for a Salesforce Commerce Architect to join a growing Salesforce practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce Commerce solutions for some of the world's most recognised brands. You'll play a key role in shaping digital commerce strategies, defining solution architecture, and guiding delivery teams through complex transformation programmes.
The Role
As a Salesforce Commerce Architect, you'll own the end-to-end solution design across customer and commerce platforms, working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering leads to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

You'll act as a trusted advisor, helping clients modernise their digital commerce capabilities while ensuring solutions are aligned to business goals and Salesforce best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and solution design for Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations.
- Define scalable, cloud-native architectures across the wider Salesforce ecosystem.
- Provide technical leadership across delivery teams, ensuring quality and architectural governance.
- Design integrations between Salesforce and key enterprise platforms including CRM, OMS, PIM, CDP, ERP, and Marketing platforms.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape technology roadmaps and digital commerce strategies.
- Support platform modernisation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and operational requirements.
- Mentor technical teams and provide architectural oversight throughout delivery.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Developer, or Commerce Architect.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Experience across the wider Salesforce ecosystem, such as:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Marketing Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Strong understanding of:
- API-led architecture
- Integration patterns
- Microservices and cloud-native solutions
- Enterprise application architecture
- Experience leading large-scale Salesforce transformation programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills
