Salesforce Lead Consultant
Location: Hybrid & Leeds, Yorkshire, United Kingdom
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing Salesforce Partner, who is looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Consultant to join their team and deliver Salesforce solutions to a diverse range of customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce professional to take ownership of end-to-end implementations, working closely with customers to understand their challenges, design effective solutions and help them get the maximum value from the Salesforce platform.
Our client has a particularly strong focus on the Education sector, so experience delivering Salesforce solutions within Education would be highly advantageous.
Based in Leeds, with services also delivered across the Midlands and into London, this is an opportunity to join a growing business with ambitious plans and a clear pathway for career progression.
The Role
As a Senior Salesforce Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering Salesforce solutions from initial requirements gathering through to configuration, implementation and customer training.
You will work closely with customers and senior colleagues, leading workshops, understanding business requirements, configuring the Salesforce platform and ensuring successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
You will also have the opportunity to lead teams, contribute to best practice and play an important role in the continued growth of the business, with the potential to develop into a future leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementations for a range of customers and industries.
- Work directly with customers to understand their business requirements, challenges and objectives.
- Lead discovery and requirements-gathering workshops.
- Configure Salesforce solutions to meet customer business processes.
- Build and configure custom objects, Flows, Lightning pages, page layouts and reports.
- Support data loading and Salesforce data management activities.
- Work across multiple Salesforce Clouds and understand how they can be used to solve customer requirements.
- Develop training materials and deliver Salesforce training to customers.
- Work alongside senior team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
- Lead and support other members of the Salesforce delivery team.
- Contribute to best practice, new initiatives and continuous improvement across the business.
- Help customers develop and implement their Salesforce cloud strategy.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and remain focused on delivering measurable customer value.

Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience working with Salesforce.
- Proven experience delivering Salesforce implementations from requirements through to go-live.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and the Salesforce project lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce, including custom objects, Flows, Lightning, page layouts, reporting and data loading.
- First-hand experience across multiple Salesforce Clouds.
- Experience leading workshops and working directly with customers.
- Experience creating training materials and delivering Salesforce training.
- Ability to lead a team and support colleagues in delivering successful projects.
- Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and pain points.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- A strong customer-success mindset and collaborative, team-player approach.
- Enthusiastic, professional and confident, with a willingness to learn new technologies and skills.
- Experience within the Education sector would be highly advantageous.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience would be beneficial.
- Salesforce Agentforce experience would also be beneficial.
