Hiring: Salesforce Vlocity IT Architect/ Salesforce Vlocity
Location: Newbury, UK
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 to 3 days per week onsite
Rate: Up to £450 - 480 per day
Contract Opportunity/ Inside IR35
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Vlocity Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale Salesforce Industries solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Salesforce architect with strong expertise in Vlocity CPQ, Order Management, Salesforce architecture, enterprise integrations, and end-to-end CRM transformation.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, architects, and development teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-quality Salesforce Industries solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of large-scale Salesforce Vlocity / Salesforce Industries implementations.
- Design and implement end-to-end solutions using Vlocity CPQ and Order Management.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical solution designs.
- Lead customer workshops, discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and solution-design activities.
- Produce end-to-end solution-design and technical-architecture documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Salesforce developers and delivery teams.
- Support solution estimation, proposal development, scope definition, and pre-sales activities.
- Design and develop integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Support Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
- Review technical designs and ensure solutions meet scalability, security, performance, and maintainability requirements.
- Support application development, configuration, debugging, performance analysis, packaging, deployment, and production delivery.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Work within Agile and other project-delivery methodologies.

Essential Skills and Experience
- 08-10+ years of experience in software, CRM, or enterprise application delivery.
- 4-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce and/or Vlocity experience.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect, Salesforce Solution Architect, Vlocity Architect, Salesforce Industries Architect, or Lead Salesforce Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with Vlocity CPQ / Salesforce Industries CPQ.
- Strong experience with Vlocity Order Management / Salesforce Industries Order Management.
- Experience designing and delivering end-to-end Salesforce CRM solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience with Experience Cloud / Community Cloud.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
- Strong experience designing Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience leading customer workshops and working directly with senior business stakeholders.
- Experience providing technical leadership, architecture guidance, and team oversight.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
