The Marketing Cloud Product Owner
The Marketing Cloud Product Owner leads the strategy delivery and optimisation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions to drive marketing automation and business value.
Job Description
- Define, prioritise, and deliver the product roadmap for Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Account Engagement (Pardot), B2C Marketing Cloud, and Personalization (Interaction Studio)
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, marketing teams, and technical teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from vision, backlog management, delivery to continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision aligned with marketing, CRM, and business objectives
- Manage the product backlog with prioritisation based on business value, ROI, and dependencies
- Translate business needs into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate across teams including Marketing, Data Cloud, CRM/Sales Data, Analytics, and Integration teams
- Drive marketing automation capabilities such as journey orchestration, audience segmentation, personalisation, and campaign automation
- Ensure optimal use and governance of Marketing Cloud platforms and integrations
- Work closely with Agile teams to facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and timely delivery
- Define KPIs and success metrics to monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement
- Establish product governance, promote user adoption through training and documentation, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
- Bring expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Account Engagement (Pardot), B2C Marketing Cloud, and Personalization (Interaction Studio)

- Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with marketing and business objectives
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Marketing Cloud roadmap covering campaign orchestration, personalisation, lead management, and account engagement
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, translating business needs into actionable user stories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, CRM, data analytics, and integration specialists
- Facilitate alignment and clear communication among stakeholders
- Drive design and evolution of Marketing Cloud capabilities including journey orchestration, segmentation, personalisation, and integrations
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and remove blockers to ensure timely delivery
- Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and ensure quality
- Monitor key performance indicators such as campaign effectiveness, adoption rates, ROI, and efficiency gains
- Establish governance frameworks, drive user adoption through enablement activities, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards
- Leverage expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Account Engagement (Pardot), B2C Marketing Cloud, and Personalization (Interaction Studio) to enhance platform capabilities
