Senior Salesforce Architect | Global Remote | Up to £480 per day outside IR35
We are supporting a consultancy delivering a major Salesforce transformation for a large global organisation and are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Architect to join the programme.
This is a complex, fast-moving implementation with a significant amount of work still to deliver. Phase 1 is currently targeted to go live at the end of October (TBC), so we need somebody who can come in quickly, understand the landscape, work alongside the existing architecture and delivery teams and help drive the programme towards a successful release.
There is a lot to do – this isn't a role for somebody who wants to sit purely at a strategic architecture level. We need an Architect who is comfortable getting into the detail, working through challenges and making confident technical decisions when required.
What we're looking for
- An established Senior Salesforce Architect with significant experience operating at architecture level – not a Senior Developer looking for their first architecture opportunity
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud – this is the core requirement
- Strong Salesforce architecture, solution design and data modelling experience
- Technically strong and comfortable being hands-on when required
- Experience delivering complex Salesforce implementations within large enterprise environments
- Strong integration/API knowledge and experience working across wider enterprise systems
- Experience working alongside Systems Integrators and multidisciplinary technical teams
- Exposure to Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Revenue Cloud and/or Data Cloud would be advantageous
- Ability to assess complex situations, work through trade-offs and make pragmatic technical decisions
- Experience working within large global or US-headquartered organisations would be particularly valuable
- Excellent communication skills – this person will need to work confidently with both technical teams and senior stakeholders

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You don't need to tick every Salesforce product on the original wish list. Depth of architecture experience, strong Sales Cloud knowledge and the ability to deliver in a complex environment are more important.
