Salesforce Data Migration Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Data Migration Consultant to support a short-term Salesforce Sales Cloud transformation project.
Our client is replacing a legacy CRM and lead-management platform with Salesforce. Data from both systems is available in CSV exports, but it is undocumented, inconsistently structured and requires careful analysis before it can be migrated reliably.
You will take ownership of the migration workstream: understanding the source data, defining and applying transformation and cleansing rules, loading data into Salesforce, and reconciling the result with stakeholders.
This is a defined project engagement rather than a long-term role, with a target go-live in September.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and reverse-engineer legacy CRM and lead-management CSV exports
- Identify record structures, relationships, identifiers and data-quality issues
- Map and transform source data into Salesforce Sales Cloud objects and load templates
- Cleanse, deduplicate and validate data before migration
- Load and reconcile migrated records in Salesforce
- Manage exceptions, assumptions and migration risks clearly
- Work directly with client stakeholders to resolve business rules, mapping decisions and sign-off
- Support the upload and re-hosting of images and documents to AWS, working alongside the technical team where needed
- Produce clear migration documentation and progress updates

Experience required
- Proven end-to-end Salesforce data migration experience, ideally into Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Strong hands-on experience with CSV-based source data, data profiling, cleansing, transformation and reconciliation
- Ability to work with undocumented and poorly structured legacy data
- Experience mapping complex relationships, resolving identifier issues and handling duplicate records
- Familiarity with Salesforce Person Accounts would be highly desirable
- Experience using Salesforce data-loading tools and working with large volumes of records
- Strong stakeholder-management skills: able to explain data issues, obtain decisions and drive timely sign-off
- Comfortable working independently in a project-based consulting capacity

Nice to have
- Experience with UK estate agency, property or lead-management data
- Experience with Rezi/Dezrez or comparable property CRM platforms
- Experience migrating files, images or document links into AWS-hosted storage
- SQL, ETL or data-transformation tooling experience

- Remote or hybrid, subject to agreement
