Salesforce Developer

6 Months
1-2 Days per week in the office (Berkshire)
£350-£400 per day Inside IR35

We are currently recruiting for a Salesforce Developer to provide hands-on expertise within a cross-functional Scrum team to design, build, and optimize high-performing digital sales, service, and smart platform functionality for modern consumer products.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced configurations and customizations on the Salesforce platform using APEX, OmniScripts, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support digital sales, service, and support journeys.
  • Translate high-level solution designs into detailed implementation specifications, including class structures and integration patterns.
  • Collaborate within an Agile Scrum delivery team to implement end-to-end solutions across Sales, Service, Fulfillment, Payment, and Billing domains.
  • Partner with external API teams (such as AWS) to optimize system performance, scalability, caching, and queuing mechanisms.
  • Participate in code reviews, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to governor limits and high test-coverage standards.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Technical Architects to deliver features that meet core business and customer requirements.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with a proven track record delivering in multi-system environments.
  • Strong technical proficiency in APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniScripts, and declarative development tools (Flows).
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Industries (SFI) and integration patterns via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, or MuleSoft.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security models, sharing rules, governor limits, and data modeling principles.
  • Experience delivering in Agile/Scrum frameworks using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, SFDX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Copado, Gearset).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II or Application Architect) and familiarity with consumer digital products, D2C subscription models, or connected home technologies are preferred.
