About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our client on a contract basis in Manchester. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud projects, supporting the development and enhancement of scalable solutions that align with business objectives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing complex Salesforce applications, ensuring the platform's stability, security, and performance. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and development teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in Salesforce development, with proven experience in delivering enterprise-grade solutions. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating proficiency in Salesforce technologies. Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio, and Flows is essential. Experience working with Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud is highly desirable. Candidates should have hands-on experience developing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture (CDC). A comprehensive understanding of Salesforce security models, data architecture, governor limits, and deployment best practices is required. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, OmniStudio, and Flows to meet business requirements.
- Create and maintain integrations with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and CDC to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Support Salesforce release cycles, including deployments, updates, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, perform testing, and troubleshoot technical issues to uphold platform quality and performance standards.
- Generate comprehensive technical documentation and collaborate closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and other development team members to deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
