About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Application Support Developer to join our dedicated Salesforce Application Support Team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our Salesforce platform, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Salesforce development, configuration, and support, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver effective solutions. As a hands-on developer, you will work closely with both support and development teams to address technical challenges, implement enhancements, and optimize system performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including configuration and development.
- Proficiency in Apex, Flows, Lightning components, Visualforce, and related Salesforce technologies.
- Experience supporting Salesforce integrations, including API or middleware-based solutions.
- Strong background in application support within BAU or operational environments.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for production systems and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud modules.
- Experience working within Agile or structured change management frameworks.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II certification is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Deliver Salesforce enhancements, configuration changes, and minor bug fixes to improve system functionality and user experience.
- Develop and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Configure Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, approval processes, and installed packages to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize system downtime.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex Salesforce issues, providing expert guidance and support to support teams.
- Assess and prepare issues for escalation to the Development Team, ensuring clear documentation and effective communication.
- Follow established change, testing, and deployment processes to ensure smooth implementation of updates.
- Support ongoing optimization and continuous improvement initiatives for the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
