Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to join our digital commerce team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable, headless eCommerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and PWA Kit. You will work closely with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance storefronts and integrations for enterprise retail platforms.

Employment Type: Contract / Permanent (depending on engagement)
Work Authorization: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions, including PWA-based storefronts.
  • Implement headless commerce architectures leveraging SFCC APIs and PWA Kit.
  • Collaborate with architects to translate High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) into scalable, functional components.
  • Build and optimize key modules such as checkout, search, personalization, and API orchestration.
  • Integrate SFCC with enterprise systems including PIM, OMS, SAP CRM, and CDNs to enable real-time data synchronization.
  • Configure and optimize Algolia search, including indexing strategies, relevancy tuning, and fallback mechanisms.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability standards.
  • Support incident resolution, performance tuning, and platform stability during staging, go-live, and hypercare phases.
  • Work with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms for API orchestration and enterprise integrations.
  • Follow best practices around code modularization, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and solution governance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
