About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis for a period of three months, with the possibility of extension. This role is based in London with a hybrid working model, offering a flexible balance between remote work and on-site collaboration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing complex Salesforce solutions that support our client's business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust Salesforce applications.

The primary focus of this role is to develop and customize Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, and to create seamless integrations with third-party applications. You will be responsible for coding using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), developing flows and automations, and ensuring the solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Developer to make a significant impact on a high-profile financial services project, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Strong technical foundation and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and integration techniques
  • Experience working on complex projects within the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), flows, and process automations to meet business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions that align with Salesforce best practices.
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications, ensuring data consistency and security.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain documentation of technical designs, configurations, and customizations for future reference and compliance.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates and new features, recommending improvements and optimizations.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing technical expertise in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
