About The Role
If you're a Salesforce Developer based in the North East, you'll know opportunities like this don't come around often. This is your chance to join a dedicated, in-house Salesforce practice where you won't just maintain systems, you'll develop modern solutions, influence technical direction, and accelerate your career alongside experienced Salesforce specialists and other Software Developers. You'll be working in a genuinely complex, enterprise-level Salesforce environment supporting 200 users across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud, providing exposure that's difficult to find regionally.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, including migrating from legacy Aura/Visualforce components to Lightning Web Components (LWC), developing scalable solutions, and integrating Salesforce with other business systems. You will be instrumental in shaping the platform's evolution, contributing to technical standards, and delivering impactful solutions that support core organizational operations. Under the mentorship of experienced professionals, you'll enhance your skills and develop your expertise in a collaborative environment committed to continuous improvement.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Salesforce Developer within a customized environment, demonstrating strong technical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Essential qualifications include expertise in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and a good understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and governor limits. Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud is highly desirable, along with familiarity with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architecture. Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I are preferred, indicating a commitment to professional development and technical proficiency.
Additional valuable skills include experience modernizing legacy Aura/Visualforce components, exposure to Marketing Cloud or Experience Cloud, and a solid grasp of Salesforce best practices. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Developer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements.
- Leading efforts to transition from legacy customizations to modern Salesforce best practices, ensuring the platform remains robust, flexible, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Developing and maintaining integrations with other enterprise systems such as ERP, marketing platforms, and various APIs to facilitate seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, translating them into technical solutions that balance configuration and custom code.
- Conducting code reviews, contributing to technical standards, and promoting best practices to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Playing an active role in platform evolution initiatives, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring the Salesforce environment remains scalable and secure.
- Participating in the full project lifecycle, from architecture and design through to deployment and support.
