Job Title: Salesforce Developer
We’re seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Admins, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality enhancements across Sales/Service/Experience Cloud and related integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and configuration where appropriate.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, estimates, and deliverables.
- Develop integrations using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware (e.g., MuleSoft/Boomi), and event-driven patterns where needed.
- Implement data models, security model (profiles/permission sets, sharing), and automation aligned to best practices.
- Write and maintain unit tests (Apex test classes) and ensure deployments meet coverage and quality gates.
- Support CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git-based workflows, Salesforce DX, DevOps tooling).
- Troubleshoot production issues; perform root-cause analysis and implement preventative fixes.
- Produce technical documentation and contribute to coding standards and peer reviews.
- Collaborate with Admins to balance declarative vs programmatic solutions.

Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience developing on Salesforce, including:
- Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Triggers (or trigger frameworks), Asynchronous Apex (Queueable/Future/Batch)
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Lightning architecture
- Salesforce security and sharing concepts
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, version control (Git), and testing.
- Experience with deployments using SFDX, change sets, or DevOps tools (e.g., Copado/Gearset/Azure DevOps).
- Strong stakeholder communication and ability to work in agile delivery.

Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (any combination).
- Integration experience with OAuth, JWT, named credentials, external services, and platform events.
- Experience with Salesforce Industries, CPQ, or Marketing Cloud (if relevant).
- Familiarity with performance optimisation and governor limits.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, Admin).
