About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our Product Engineering Team at Hackajob. This hybrid role based in Winnersh (Reading area), UK, offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative environment focused on developing and enhancing our Salesforce-based SaaS platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Salesforce solutions that support our global operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer who is passionate about creating scalable, robust, and innovative systems, with a clear focus on code quality and architectural excellence. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into technical solutions, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of HR and talent management technology.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, and Salesforce Lightning / Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Hands-on experience with the Force.com platform, including designing and implementing scalable solutions.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and best practices for development and deployment.
- Experience translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, architects, and testers.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Salesforce solutions that support our SaaS product and meet business needs.
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Develop custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce components.
- Optimize existing solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and best practice implementation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including testers, product managers, and architects to ensure seamless delivery of features and functionalities.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce developments and incorporate innovative features such as AI integrations where applicable.
