Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Salesforce Developer with 4–6 years of IT experience and 2–3 years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud experience to support Salesforce Service Cloud and CRM Analytics, develop multi-channel marketing campaigns, and deliver automation solutions. The role will work closely with marketing teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while following Salesforce best practices and data governance standards.
What You Will Do
- Develop and support Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns and automation solutions.
- Configure and utilize Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
- Support Salesforce Service Cloud and CRM Analytics environments.
- Develop solutions using Apex and CRM Analytics.
- Apply AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL queries for data management and personalization.
- Develop and maintain API integrations.
- Manage data extensions and audience segmentation.
- Implement A/B testing and analyze campaign performance.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Apply Marketing Cloud best practices and data governance standards.
- Support Salesforce environments and liaise with technology vendors as required.
- Utilize Salesforce Command Line Interface for development and support activities.
- Participate in a rotational on-call support schedule.

Qualifications
- 4–6 years of IT experience, including 2–3 years working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud modules, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
- Experience with Salesforce Command Line Interface, Apex, and CRM Analytics.
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL queries, and API integrations for data management and personalization.
- Experience managing data extensions, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and campaign performance analytics.
- Ability to collaborate with marketing teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Knowledge of Marketing Cloud best practices and data governance standards.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud and CRM Analytics support environments.
- Willingness to work 100% office-based in Manchester or Inverness.
- Availability to participate in a rotational on-call support schedule within a 12-hour service window.
- Eligibility for BPSS clearance and completion of additional vetting requirements.
