About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust Salesforce solutions across various transformation projects that have a significant impact on public services and government operations. As part of a cross-functional team, you will bring your technical expertise to develop scalable, secure, and high-quality applications that meet business needs. You will work closely with architects, senior developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring best practices in development, testing, and deployment. This position offers flexibility in working arrangements, including client site, remote, or based in our offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that enhance public sector capabilities while advancing their career in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, preferably within public sector or enterprise environments. Essential qualifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, with a strong preference for candidates holding Salesforce Platform Developer II or other relevant Salesforce certifications such as App Builder or Integration Architect. A degree or equivalent qualification related to computer science, software engineering, or a related field is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce DX. Familiarity with Salesforce products like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud is important. Additionally, experience with REST and SOAP APIs, integration tools, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft is advantageous. Knowledge of Salesforce security models, data architecture, and DevOps processes—including version control and CI/CD—is also required. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within agile teams are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Developer at Triad, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications and implementing well-tested, scalable solutions that align with project goals.
  • Collaborating with solution architects and senior developers to support the design and integration of Salesforce solutions with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Building integrations with third-party tools and middleware platforms, such as MuleSoft.
  • Contributing to the development of technical documentation and sharing knowledge across teams to foster continuous improvement.
  • Participating in agile ceremonies, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and task estimates.
  • Supporting testing, deployment, and post-deployment activities across various environments, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to best practices.
