About The Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Salesforce developer to join our dynamic team at GIS Jobs Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing robust applications on the Salesforce platform. This highly technical and collaborative position requires close coordination with business analysts, solution architects, and clients to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Salesforce development, a passion for innovative problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results that align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A minimum of 6 to 8 years of proven, hands-on experience in Salesforce software development is essential. Strong proficiency in Apex, including classes and triggers, as well as SOQL is required. Candidates should have experience working with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and be familiar with building dynamic user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC). Knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, is highly desirable. Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II are preferred. Experience with integration middleware like MuleSoft and familiarity with DevOps tools and version control systems will be considered advantageous. Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work directly with clients to understand technical requirements are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Development: Build custom applications, user interfaces, and business logic using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.
- Low-Code Automation: Leverage declarative tools like Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes where appropriate before resorting to custom code.
- System Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external applications (ERP, marketing tools, third-party systems) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Write comprehensive unit test classes to ensure proper code coverage, and assist with System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Deployment & Release Management: Manage code migrations and deployments across sandboxes, UAT, and production environments using version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintenance & Support: Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring high system availability and optimal performance.
