About The Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Salesforce developer to join our dynamic team at GIS Jobs Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and customizing robust applications on the Salesforce platform to enhance our client solutions. Your expertise will enable the creation of scalable, high-performing Salesforce applications that align with business objectives and technical standards. Working closely with business analysts, solution architects, and clients, you will translate complex business requirements into efficient technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects within a supportive environment that values technical excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong educational background and extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce development. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required. Candidates should have between 6 to 8 years of proven experience in Salesforce software development, demonstrating a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities and best practices. Proficiency in core programming languages such as Apex, SOQL, and web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is essential. Experience with building dynamic user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC), and familiarity with Salesforce ecosystems like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud are highly desirable. Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II are preferred, along with experience working with integration middleware like MuleSoft. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact directly with clients to gather technical requirements are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Development: Build custom applications, user interfaces, and business logic using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components to meet client specifications.
  • Low-Code Automation: Utilize declarative tools such as Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes to streamline workflows and automate processes before implementing custom code solutions.
  • System Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems, including ERP, marketing tools, and third-party applications, using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms like MuleSoft.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Write comprehensive unit test classes to ensure adequate code coverage, and assist with System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
  • Deployment & Release Management: Manage code migrations and deployments across various environments such as sandboxes, UAT, and production, utilizing version control systems and CI/CD pipelines for efficient release cycles.
  • Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing support by debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, ensuring high system availability, performance, and security.
