About The Role

We are seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join the Product Engineering Team at Sage. This role is based in Winnersh, UK, with a hybrid working model requiring three days onsite per week. As part of our ISV (Independent Software Vendor) team, you will be pivotal in developing and evolving our core SaaS product, Sage People, built on the Salesforce platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a single, scalable product with a focus on high-quality code, architecture, and long-term maintainability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers, testers, architects, and product managers to deliver innovative features and enhancements, including AI-driven capabilities. Your hands-on development expertise will be instrumental in translating complex business requirements into robust solutions that meet the needs of our global customer base.

Candidates with experience in Salesforce Lightning, Lightning Web Components (LWC), VisualForce, and APIs will be preferred. Additionally, familiarity with modern development tools such as Git, Jira, IntelliJ, and CI/CD pipelines will be advantageous. We are open to applications from experienced Salesforce developers as well as backend developers from Java or C# backgrounds who are eager to specialize in Salesforce development and possess strong fundamental coding skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
