About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our core platform, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and user-friendly. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality features that enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and influence the future direction of our platform.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software development, particularly with languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java, is essential. Familiarity with web frameworks, RESTful APIs, and cloud services like AWS or Azure is highly desirable. Strong understanding of database management systems, version control, and agile development methodologies is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also important. We value innovative thinking, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our platform and users.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of the platform through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies to improve our systems.
- Support and troubleshoot existing applications, providing timely resolutions to issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and team workflows.
