About the Job You're Considering

Who You’ll Be Working With

Capgemini works with some of the world’s largest brands on some of the most interesting and complex transformation programmes in modern IT. The Salesforce Delivery Unit is one of the fastest growing areas within Capgemini UK and focuses on helping clients realise business value through Salesforce, AI, customer data, digital engagement and marketing transformation.

You’ll be working across a wide spectrum of industry sectors, from Consumer Products, Automotive and Retail through to Financial Services, Telecommunications and Public Sector. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, marketing teams, data engineers, security specialists, governance leads and delivery teams to transform customer engagement capabilities using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next and Salesforce Data 360.

You’ll experience significant variety in this role. One day you could be leading a customer data strategy workshop, the next presenting a solution through Technical Design Authority governance, defining an enterprise identity resolution framework, or guiding development teams through the implementation of AI-enabled customer journeys powered by trusted customer data.

Your Role

The Focus of Your Role

Working closely with clients, you’ll analyse exactly what they need before designing and delivering secure, scalable and governed customer engagement solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next and Salesforce Data 360.

You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor, helping clients establish a connected customer data foundation that enables segmentation, personalisation, marketing orchestration, analytics and AI-powered engagement. You’ll combine expertise across customer data platforms, CRM, marketing technology, integration and enterprise architecture to create solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

You’ll provide architectural leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through build, testing, release management, deployment, adoption and ongoing optimisation. Whatever the project, you’ll indulge your passion for Salesforce, customer data, AI and marketing technology while building trusted relationships with clients and delivery teams. Qualities like these will help you become the person clients turn to when they face their most complex customer engagement challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • You will lead the architecture, design and technical governance of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next and Salesforce Data 360 implementations.
  • You’ll work closely with clients to understand their customer engagement, marketing automation, customer data and AI strategies, translating requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • You’ll define enterprise customer data architectures including Data Lake Objects, Data Model Objects, identity resolution rulesets, unified individual profiles, calculated insights and segmentation frameworks.
  • You’ll design scalable ingestion, harmonisation, transformation and activation patterns across Salesforce, enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, APIs, middleware platforms and streaming data sources.
  • You’ll ensure that security, privacy, compliance and governance requirements are embedded within all solution designs.
  • You’ll lead architecture reviews and present solutions to Technical Design Authorities, Architecture Review Boards, Security Review Boards and senior stakeholder forums.
  • You’ll establish governance processes, design standards and architecture guardrails to ensure consistency across programmes and delivery teams.
  • You’ll support release planning, deployment strategies, environment management and operational readiness activities across Salesforce platforms.
  • You’ll identify technical risks, dependencies, assumptions and architectural challenges, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are implemented.
  • You’ll collaborate with security teams to ensure solutions are secure by design and align with enterprise security policies and standards.
  • You’ll partner with marketing, CRM, analytics, data engineering and AI teams to activate trusted customer data across campaigns, reporting, customer service and Agentforce use cases.
  • You’ll stay current with Salesforce innovation across Data 360, Marketing Cloud Next, Agentforce and AI capabilities, helping clients understand the art of the possible.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
