Description
DeterTech's purpose is giving greater peace of mind to people and communities, every day – and our CRM and integration platforms are central to how we deliver on that promise for our customers. This role owns the Salesforce & Integration function from a people, capacity, operational, and management perspective, building a well-structured, motivated team as it grows.
The Salesforce & MuleSoft Manager will work closely with the Salesforce & MuleSoft Technical Delivery Manager, who owns technical delivery planning, so that people, capacity, and delivery plans stay aligned. This is a foundational hire for the function and will be closely involved in recruiting and shaping the rest of the team.
Please note that this is a hybrid role, with an expectation for candidates to work from the office approximately one day per week.
Key Responsibilities
Team leadership and people management
- Line-manage the Salesforce & Integration team, holding regular 1:1s and taking ownership of development and performance management.
- Build a high-performing, well-structured team as it grows, playing an active role in recruiting and shaping future roles.
- Support team members' career growth, recognising strong contribution and addressing performance concerns constructively and fairly.
Capacity and resource planning
- Own resource and capacity planning across Salesforce/CRM and integration workstreams, balancing business-as-usual support, project delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Translate organisational priorities into clear team priorities, cascading direction so everyone understands what matters most and why.
- Collaborate with the Salesforce Lead to validate that platform roadmap goals, architectural initiatives, and technical debt remediations are allocated appropriate capacity alongside new commercial feature delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
