Salesforce Platform Manager
£27.83 per hour
Temporary opportunity | 3 months+ | Potential to become permanent
Hybrid working | 2 days per week in Central London
Are you a certified Salesforce Administrator looking for a hands-on role where you can make a visible impact from day one?
We're recruiting for an experienced Salesforce Platform Manager to join a purpose-led organisation and play a key role in the ongoing development and support of a business-critical Salesforce environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across the full Salesforce lifecycle, combining system administration, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, user support and continuous improvement.
Initially offered on a temporary basis for 3 months+, this role also has the potential to become permanent for the right individual.
The Role
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll help ensure Salesforce continues to support operational delivery, data management and strategic priorities. You'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the platform, delivering projects and providing expert support to users.
This is a varied position that would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and building strong working relationships while remaining hands-on with Salesforce administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administration, maintenance and development of Salesforce.
- Build and improve workflows, automations, integrations and customisations.
- Provide responsive user support and troubleshooting.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Lead and support projects from planning through to implementation.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and system releases.
- Deliver data migration and data quality improvement projects.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access.
- Create and maintain documentation, training materials and user guides.
- Deliver user training and support adoption of new functionality.
- Ensure high standards of data governance, GDPR compliance and system security.
- Work with third-party suppliers and development partners where required.
- Contribute to future platform improvements and continuous enhancement of the Salesforce environment.

About You
You'll be a proactive Salesforce professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, identifying solutions and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Extensive Salesforce administration experience within Salesforce Lightning.
- Strong experience of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- Experience of Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or similar Salesforce environments.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Flows and automation.
- Experience managing integrations with third-party systems.
- Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience delivering user training and developing training materials.
- Strong understanding of GDPR, data protection and data governance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
- Additional Salesforce certifications.
- Experience leading user acceptance testing.
- Experience delivering data migration projects.
- Experience working with third-party Salesforce applications.
- Project management qualification.
- Experience within the charity, not-for-profit or membership sectors.
