About the Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Salesforce Lead (VP Level) to drive the strategy, execution, and team transformation for a flagship financial services enterprise account.
Leading a dynamic technology function of 70+ professionals—spanning architects, developers, solution consultants, administrators, QA, and release management—you will serve as a pivotal bridge between senior client stakeholders and engineering delivery.
This role requires a technical leader who can navigate complex B2B and B2C dynamics within Financial Services, oversee dual-operating models (SAFe Agile + AI-driven Squads), and lead an immediate upskilling initiative across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Transformation: Lead, mentor, and upskill a 70+ Salesforce capability. Champion team cross-skilling and continuous capability development to align with future account growth.
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Serve as a Trusted Advisor to group-level executives, product owners, and senior leadership. Translate business strategies into seamless technical execution plans.
- Delivery & Governance: Oversee delivery across a split operating model—balancing SAFe Agile program increment releases with dedicated AI-driven development squads.
- Technical Strategy & Modernization: Guide architecture transitions, including modernizing customer-facing applications (moving toward React front-ends) and scaling the use of Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- AI Tooling Adoption: Drive the strategic adoption and integration of AI coding and development tools (e.g., Claude) across squad environments.
Key Requirements
Experience & Track Record
- Proven senior leadership background (VP / Executive level) managing large-scale Salesforce capabilities or delivery units.
- 15–20+ years of total IT experience, with 8–10+ years specifically dedicated to leading large-scale Salesforce implementations in the UK market.
- Proven track record of managing large enterprise delivery accounts in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services.

Domain & Technical Expertise
- Financial Services Domain: Strong Financial Services or Wealth Management background is essential. Deep understanding of advisor-to-partner (B2B) and partner-to-client (B2C) operational models.
- Salesforce Ecosystem: Comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, with primary expertise in Financial Services Cloud (FSC) (Marketing Cloud experience is a plus).
- Agile & AI Leadership: Hands-on expertise with SAFe Agile frameworks and practical awareness/advocacy of AI development toolsets (e.g., Claude).
- Modern Technology: Exposure to React or modern front-end integrations with Salesforce back-ends.
Preferred Certifications
- Salesforce Certified Application / System Architect or Technical Architect (CTA)
- Salesforce Certified Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional
- Salesforce Certified Sales / Service Cloud Consultant
