Salesforce Product Owner
Vizrt is looking for a Salesforce Product Owner to take genuine end-to-end ownership of the Salesforce platform — not just the roadmap and backlog, but the business outcomes that roadmap is meant to deliver. This is a senior, business-facing role for someone able to define what “good” looks like for the platform, defend that definition against competing stakeholder demands, and see it through to delivery via an offshore development team. Agentforce is imminent on our platform, and this role will shape how AI-enabled features — including agentic capability in Sales and Service — make their way onto the roadmap responsibly.
Outcome Ownership & Roadmap
- Define and own the Salesforce product roadmap in terms of the business outcomes it is intended to deliver (e.g. adoption, process efficiency, revenue enablement) — not just the list of features being built.
- Set and defend prioritisation of the roadmap and backlog against competing demands from Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, making trade-off calls rather than simply relaying stakeholder requests.
- Define acceptance criteria and success measures for each roadmap item in outcome terms (e.g. adoption rate, cycle time, business KPI movement), not just delivery/completion status.
Delivery Accountability
- Hold end-to-end accountability for delivery of the roadmap, including through the offshore development team.
- Hold formal or influence-based authority — with a committed escalation and resolution path — over the offshore delivery lead’s priorities, to reprioritise work when roadmap needs shift or delivery is at risk.
- Partner with the offshore delivery lead to translate outcome-level intent and acceptance criteria into detailed, implementation-ready user stories, retaining review and sign-off authority over how requirements are interpreted before build begins.
- Monitor delivery progress against roadmap commitments and intervene early when scope, quality, or timeline risk threatens the outcome, rather than only tracking output volume.
Stakeholder & Governance
- Act as the primary point of accountability for the Salesforce platform’s business value with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and IT.
- Chair or actively participate in a prioritisation/governance forum where cross-functional conflicts over Salesforce demand — including proposed agent deployments — are resolved.
- Build enough platform and Salesforce domain credibility to engage technical conversations with the Salesforce Technical Architect and Development Lead as a peer, not just a business proxy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

AI-enabled Roadmap & Agentforce
- Drive adoption of Agentforce-based agents in Sales and Service Cloud contexts, partnering closely with business stakeholders, who retain final sign-off and accountability for deploying any customer- or business-facing agent into production.
- Maintain a working understanding of AI/agent governance considerations (data grounding, guardrails, observability) sufficient to identify and escalate risk early — while final production risk sign-off for business-facing agents sits with the business.
Your Profile
You think and act like a product owner, not a backlog administrator: you are comfortable defining what should be built and why, saying no to requests that don’t move the needle, and being held accountable for the outcome rather than just the output. You are equally comfortable operating at the level of business strategy and getting close enough to delivery detail to write or review a clear acceptance criterion. Experience managing distributed or offshore delivery teams — and the discipline that requires around clear, unambiguous requirements — is important, because ambiguity that would cost minutes to resolve locally can cost days across time zones.
You have strong, AI-literate product judgment: you can weigh the business value of an AI-enabled or agentic feature against its risk, and you are comfortable building that expertise on the job as Agentforce becomes part of the platform. Prior hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce or comparable agentic AI tooling is a genuine advantage but not a requirement.
Skills and Experience
- 6+ years in a product owner, product manager, or equivalent business-facing platform ownership role, ideally including accountability for a delivery roadmap through a distributed or offshore team.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud — to engage credibly with technical architects and challenge technical trade-offs, not necessarily hands-on configuration experience.
- Demonstrated experience prioritising competing stakeholder demands and defending trade-off decisions with senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills — this is a core requirement, not an advantage.
- Experience writing or reviewing detailed acceptance criteria and user stories, and working with an offshore or nearshore delivery team.
- Strong product judgment on AI-enabled features — able to assess the value and risk of introducing AI/agentic capability into production. Hands-on Agentforce or agentic AI implementation experience is a plus, not a must-have.
