Salesforce Project Manager
Field Service Transformation Project
Rate: £650 per day
Working pattern: Hybrid - Leeds/Manchester
A major UK utilities organisation is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale Salesforce transformation programme. The programme will replace the organisation’s existing Works Management System with Salesforce Field Service, transforming how work is planned, scheduled, delivered and managed across a significant field-based operation.
You will operate as a key client-side member of the programme team, working closely with operational stakeholders, Salesforce and the implementation partner throughout discovery, design and delivery. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing programme plans, milestones, dependencies and RAID
- Coordinating internal SMEs and third parties
- Supporting governance
- Ensuring complex integration dependencies across finance, customer, operational and reporting systems are effectively managed

This assignment requires someone who combines strong Salesforce delivery experience with broader operational transformation capability. You will need the confidence to challenge the implementation partner, hold stakeholders accountable and ensure technology decisions remain aligned with business outcomes. Previous Salesforce Field Service experience within utilities, infrastructure, engineering, field operations or another asset-intensive environment would be highly advantageous.
The successful Project Manager will have:

- Proven Project Management experience delivering large-scale Salesforce transformation programmes, ideally involving Salesforce Field Service.
- Strong experience managing systems integrators, third-party delivery partners, governance, RAID and complex programme dependencies.
- Experience delivering technology transformation across field-based or operational environments, ideally within utilities, infrastructure or engineering services.
- Strong understanding of complex systems integration and dependencies across enterprise technology environments.
- A proactive, delivery-focused approach with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders and implementation partners while building strong working relationships.
