Salesforce QA Professional
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA professional to play a key role in the delivery of business-critical digital solutions within a Financial Services environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior QA/Test Analyst to drive quality across the full software delivery lifecycle, supporting a catalogue of new Salesforce features while working collaboratively with UK and international development teams.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience across both manual and automated testing, with a particular focus on Salesforce, and will help ensure solutions meet business requirements, customer needs, regulatory expectations, and the organisation’s governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive a multi-level testing approach across system, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, and wider stakeholders to establish a shared understanding of requirements and ensure testability from the outset.
- Contribute to test strategy and approach, develop detailed test plans and scripts, provide accurate test estimates and progress reporting, manage risks and defects, and ensure full traceability of requirements, tests, and evidence through tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Facilitate feature and story sign-off with Product Owners and BAs and produce key QA artefacts including test strategies, traceability matrices, and test completion reports.
- Build, maintain, and optimise robust, reusable automation frameworks that provide fast and reliable feedback to development teams.
- Write and execute automated tests, maintain regression packs, troubleshoot failed automation and CI builds, and work with CI/CD tooling and deployment processes such as Jenkins, TeamCity, and Bitbucket.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
