Robert Walters is partnering with a leading Asset Management organisation to hire an experienced Salesforce QA Manager to join their technology team in London.
This is a key role for a hands-on Salesforce QA professional who can own the testing strategy across Salesforce implementations, configuration, customisation, integrations, data and releases.
The role
You will lead the end-to-end QA approach across Salesforce delivery, working closely with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Architects, Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure robust and reliable releases.
You will be responsible for:
- Owning the Salesforce test strategy, test planning and QA governance.
- Leading SIT, UAT, regression, integration and release testing.
- Testing Salesforce configuration, custom objects, fields, Flows, validation rules, workflows, profiles, permission sets and security.
- Managing Salesforce integration and API testing, including data flows between Salesforce and external systems.
- Leading data migration, data validation and reconciliation testing.
- Coordinating sandbox testing, deployment validation and release readiness.
- Managing defects through to resolution and providing clear QA status, risk and release reporting.
- Identifying opportunities for test automation and AI-enabled QA.

Technical hands-on experience across the Salesforce testing lifecycle, including:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / Financial Services Cloud or similar.
- Salesforce configuration and customisation testing.
- Objects, fields, flows, validation rules, workflows and business processes.
- Salesforce profiles, roles, permission sets and security model.
- API and integration testing, middleware and downstream/upstream systems.
- Data migration, data quality and reconciliation testing.
- Salesforce sandbox and deployment/release processes.
- Test management and delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Copado, Gearset, Flosum or Salesforce DevOps Center.
- Experience with test automation / quality engineering and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Provar or equivalent would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate looks like
- Proven experience as a Salesforce QA Manager / Salesforce Test Manager.
- Strong technical understanding of Salesforce and the ability to challenge technical teams around quality and risk.
- Experience managing SIT, UAT, regression and integration testing.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technology, business and third-party teams.
- Experience within financial services, asset management or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Salesforce certification or relevant Trailhead experience would be advantageous.
