My client is currently looking for a permanent Salesforce Release & DevOps Engineer who will support the planning, coordination, governance and execution of Salesforce releases.

This is a hands-on, mid-level role focused on release management, deployment coordination, environment readiness, cutover planning and controlled promotion of change across environments. The role is not a system administration role, although a good understanding of Salesforce metadata, environments and deployment tooling is required.

The role will help ensure Salesforce changes are delivered in a controlled, traceable and repeatable way, reducing deployment risk and supporting the transition from partner-led delivery in Release 1 to increased client ownership from Release 2 onwards.

My client is implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud and the CPQ module of Agentforce Revenue Management as its global CPQ/CRM platform across multiple countries. The platform will support the Lead to Order journey, including opportunity management, quote request intake, pricing, configuration, approvals, quote generation and validated order handoff to ERP. A delivery partner will lead the initial build in Release 1, with the client progressively taking ownership of release management, platform operation and continuous improvement in future releases.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
