Salesforce Solution Architect
We’re looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end design of Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Experience Cloud and platform capabilities. You’ll translate business outcomes into secure, scalable architectures, guide delivery teams, and ensure high-quality implementation aligned to best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Own solution architecture across the Salesforce product stack (data, integration, security, automation, UI/UX patterns).
- Run discovery with stakeholders to shape requirements, target state, and roadmap.
- Produce and maintain architecture artefacts: HLD/LLD, system context diagrams, integration/data flows, environment strategy, non-functional requirements.
- Design solutions using appropriate Salesforce capabilities (e.g., Flows, Apex, LWC, OmniStudio where relevant) while minimising technical debt.
- Define integration patterns (API-led, events, middleware) and data strategy (MDM considerations, data quality, migration approach).
- Lead governance: design reviews, standards, guardrails, and decision logs; manage architectural risks and trade-offs.
- Partner with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Developers, Admins, and external vendors to ensure delivery aligns to the architecture.
- Support estimation, planning, and delivery assurance; contribute to release and environment management.
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements (role hierarchy, sharing, encryption, auditability).
- Coach teams and stakeholders; contribute to reusable assets and accelerators.

Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect (or Senior Tech Lead/Architect) delivering multi-cloud implementations.
- Strong knowledge of core Salesforce architecture: data model, security model, automation, limits, and performance considerations.
- Experience designing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, eventing (Platform Events/CDC), and common middleware (e.g., MuleSoft/Boomi/Azure).
- Ability to articulate trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences and drive decisions.
- Hands-on familiarity with delivery practices (Agile), DevOps and ALM (e.g., CI/CD, Git, SFDX).

Desirable
- Experience with one or more: CPQ, Field Service, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, OmniStudio, Industries.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and documentation standards.
- Public sector, financial services, or regulated-industry experience.
