Salesforce (SFDC) & Tableau Reporting and Analytics Expert
The Salesforce (SFDC) & Tableau Reporting and Analytics Expert is responsible for designing, building, governing, and optimizing reporting, analytics, and dashboard capabilities across the commercial organization. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert for Salesforce reporting, Tableau analytics, KPI management, and commercial performance insights.
The position is accountable for transforming CRM and commercial data into actionable business intelligence that drives sales effectiveness, customer engagement, funnel health, forecasting accuracy, customer retention, and strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce and Tableau expertise with strong business acumen and experience in diagnostics, healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or other complex B2B sales environments.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Strategy & Governance
- Establish governance for KPI definitions, reporting standards, dashboard design, and data visualization.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of commercial metrics across global, regional, and country organizations.
- Develop reporting frameworks supporting executive decision-making and operational management.
- Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize reporting and analytics enhancements.
- Act as the owner of reporting requirements associated with CRM and commercial excellence initiatives.
Tableau Dashboard Development
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
- Develop executive dashboards supporting:
- Sales performance
- Funnel health
- Opportunity progression
- Forecasting
- Customer retention
- Customer satisfaction
- Win/Loss analysis
- Territory performance
- Commercial productivity
- Optimize dashboard usability, performance, and user experience.
- Create scalable and reusable dashboard templates.
- Leverage advanced Tableau functionality, including:
- Calculated fields
- Parameters
- Actions
- Level of Detail (LOD) expressions
- Advanced visualizations
- Trend and predictive analytics
Salesforce Analytics & Reporting
- Serve as the Salesforce reporting expert for Sales Cloud and related commercial applications.
- Design and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- Support reporting needs for:

- Forecasts
- Customer Engagements
- Sales Programs
- Territory Management
- Define CRM adoption and effectiveness reporting.
- Build dashboards measuring data quality, compliance, and process adherence.
- Partner with Product Owners and CRM Specialists to incorporate reporting requirements into new Salesforce capabilities.

- Define and monitor CRM data quality standards.
- Develop dashboards and controls measuring:

Required:

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or commercial excellence.
- 3+ years of advanced Tableau development experience.
- 3+ years of Salesforce reporting experience.
- Experience designing executive dashboards and KPI frameworks.
- Experience supporting sales organizations and commercial processes.
- Experience translating business requirements into reporting solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
