Job Title: Salesforce Tech Lead
Location: Windsor, UK (Hybrid – 1 day per week onsite initially)
Type: PAYE Contract
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Tech Lead to join a large-scale enterprise programme on a 6-month contract. This role is suited for a hands-on technical leader with strong Salesforce development expertise and proven experience leading delivery within Agile environments.
Role Overview
As Salesforce Tech Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. You will work closely with Solution Architects, QA, and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and timely delivery of sprint work.

You will also provide technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring best practices in coding standards, integration design, and DevOps processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to sprint refinement and technical scoping of user stories
- Support Solution Architects in translating high-level designs into technical tasks
- Own delivery of assigned development tickets to meet acceptance criteria and deadlines
- Conduct technical spikes and proof-of-concepts for emerging solutions
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Collaborate with integration teams and API stakeholders
- Work closely with QA to troubleshoot and resolve defects
- Mentor and support junior Salesforce developers
- Ensure alignment across multiple teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment

Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years in IT with at least 5+ years in Salesforce development and technical leadership
- Strong experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Strong knowledge of both declarative and programmatic Salesforce development
- Experience using Git or similar version control systems
- Proven experience delivering scalable enterprise Salesforce solutions
- Strong Agile/SCRUM delivery background
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
Desirable Skills
- Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) experience including Omniscripts, EPC, and Integration Procedures
- Experience working in multi-vendor enterprise environments
