Salesforce Tech Lead

📍 Windsor (1 Day Per Week Onsite)
📅 6-Month Contract | ASAP Start
💷 Up to £550 per day (Inside IR35)

We're seeking an experienced Salesforce Tech Lead to join a high-performing delivery team on an exciting transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Salesforce specialist with strong leadership capabilities who can drive technical excellence, challenge requirements, and guide development teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.

Working closely with Delivery Managers, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders, you'll play a key role in shaping technical solutions and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead for Salesforce delivery, providing guidance and expertise across the development lifecycle.
  • Challenge requirements where appropriate and help shape the most effective technical solutions.
  • Participate in sprint planning, refinement sessions, and the scoping of upcoming work.
  • Support Solution Architects with technical design and the breakdown of complex features and requirements.
  • Take ownership of assigned deliverables, ensuring all work is completed on time and meets acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct technical investigations and proof-of-concepts to assess emerging technologies and future opportunities.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure development work adheres to best practice and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrations and ensure API alignment.
  • Partner with QA teams to investigate defects and support issue resolution.
  • Mentor and support junior team members through coaching, technical guidance, and problem-solving.

Required Skills & Experience

Salesforce Expertise

  • Minimum 5 years' Salesforce experience, including both declarative and programmatic development.
  • Experience leading Salesforce projects and development teams.
  • Strong experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
  • Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) experience including OmniStudio / Omniscripts, EPC, Integration Procedures

Technical Skills

  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Apex Development
  • Salesforce Flows & Automation

  • Git or similar version control systems

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
