Salesforce Technical Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Enterprise Architect / Technical Architect with extensive Salesforce architecture experience to lead complex CRM transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) and must hold both Salesforce Application Architect and Salesforce System Architect certifications.

Experience within the Public Sector or Energy & Utilities domain is highly desirable, particularly exposure to Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Salesforce Architect / Technical Architect / Senior Technical Architect.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions and CRM architectures.
  • Salesforce Application Architect Certification – Mandatory.
  • Salesforce System Architect Certification – Mandatory.
  • Strong hands-on experience producing and reviewing:
    • High-Level Designs (HLD)
    • Low-Level Designs (LLD)
    • Solution architecture documents
    • Technical architecture blueprints
  • 14+ years of CRM experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Public Sector or Energy & Utilities.
  • Strong Salesforce 360 Platform architecture knowledge.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with disparate enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of business-process design, optimisation and transformation.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience defining target architecture and transition architecture.
  • Experience creating implementation roadmaps and phased delivery plans.
  • Strong stakeholder/client-facing and consulting experience.
  • Ability to lead business process redesign and architecture workshops.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Salesforce Enterprise/Technical Architecture advisor to customers.
  • Define and execute CRM strategy and Salesforce transformation roadmaps.
  • Assess business requirements and map them to appropriate Salesforce capabilities.
  • Lead architecture and business-process redesign workshops.
  • Design target and transition architectures.
  • Develop implementation roadmaps and phased delivery plans.
  • Identify integration touchpoints across multi-cloud Salesforce implementations.
  • Provide strategic guidance across the Salesforce 360 Platform.
  • Work closely with Technical Architects, project teams and implementation partners.
  • Review solution designs, infrastructure blueprints and technical architecture.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies and potential issues.
  • Provide thought leadership around Salesforce and CRM transformation.
  • Support complex business and technical problem-solving across enterprise programmes.
