Position: Salesforce Technical Lead
Employment Type: Contract

Location: Berkshire, UK (Mostly remote, 1 day per week office)

Role – We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Tech Lead to lead the technical delivery of Salesforce solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment. This role is ideal for a senior Salesforce professional with strong hands-on development expertise, technical leadership experience, and a proven track record of delivering scalable enterprise Salesforce implementations.

You will work closely with Solution Architects, Development Teams, QA, and Integration teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical delivery of Salesforce development across Agile sprint cycles.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical estimation.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to design scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Break down complex technical requirements into deliverable work packages.
- Ensure timely delivery of development tasks while meeting acceptance criteria.
- Conduct technical investigations and proof-of-concept activities.
- Perform Salesforce code reviews and enforce development best practices.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and scalability.
- Coordinate with integration teams to ensure API and system integration alignment.
- Support defect investigation and resolution alongside QA teams.
- Mentor Salesforce Developers and provide technical leadership across the team.
- Drive continuous improvement within the Salesforce development lifecycle.

Key Skills:
- 12+ years total IT experience
- 5+ years in a Salesforce Technical Lead or Senior Salesforce Developer role
- Experience delivering enterprise Salesforce implementations
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms
- Strong experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
- Expertise in both declarative and programmatic Salesforce development
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Visualforce
- Flows
- Salesforce APIs
- Integration patterns
- Salesforce security and sharing models
