Salesforce Tech Lead
London / Hybrid (Minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Our client is an innovative technology business transforming the insurance sector through a modern Salesforce-based platform. Working with leading organisations across the industry, they deliver digital insurance products that combine speed, scalability and exceptional user experiences.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Salesforce Tech Lead to take ownership of solution delivery across multiple client products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical leadership, architecture, client engagement and hands-on Salesforce expertise in a fast-paced product-driven environment.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the end-to-end technical solution design across multiple Salesforce-based products.
- Acting as the technical authority for clients and internal delivery teams.
- Designing scalable, maintainable solutions with a strong preference for configuration over custom development.
- Guiding development teams through implementation, quality assurance and release activities.
- Defining data models, integrations, automation strategies and non-functional requirements.
- Working closely with stakeholders to refine requirements, evaluate options and communicate technical trade-offs.
- Promoting reusability, standardisation and best practice across all delivered solutions.
- Driving technical excellence in areas such as DevOps, CI/CD, security and code quality.
- Mentoring engineers and helping teams maximise the value of emerging AI-assisted development tools.
- Contributing to continuous improvement through reusable design patterns, templates and delivery accelerators.

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Lead, Solution Architect or Senior Salesforce Developer.
- Strong hands-on Salesforce platform expertise with deep knowledge of:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce configuration and declarative automation
- Salesforce integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Experience delivering full lifecycle Salesforce implementations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce development standards, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrable experience translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Experience leading delivery teams across multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop technical team members.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Desirable Experience
- Financial Services Cloud expertise.
- Insurance industry experience, particularly within MGA, London Market or Personal Lines environments.
- Experience designing highly configurable solutions that minimise ongoing development support.
- Exposure to AI-powered development tools and their practical application within delivery teams.
- Experience creating reusable frameworks, accelerators, patterns or tooling that improve delivery efficiency.
