Description

Join our project team in IT as we deliver an optimised Lead to Cash experience across sales teams and finance for the duration of 3 months.

Aurora is undertaking Project Nexus, a major business transformation programme that introduces new Lead-to-Cash processes supported by Salesforce and Dynamics 365.

The Salesforce Training & Adoption Consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive commercial learning and adoption programme that enables successful transition to new ways of working while also establishing a more consistent and mature approach to Salesforce usage across the business.

This role goes beyond traditional system training. The successful candidate will combine Salesforce expertise, business process understanding and change management capability to improve user adoption, data quality, governance and overall CRM effectiveness across Sales, Business Development, Account Management and Commercial Operations teams. The role aligns with the Nexus training approach of role-based, process-led learning and behaviour change.

Key Responsibilities

Training Strategy & Design

  • Work with change manager and Aurora Salesforce SMEs to assess current Salesforce capability, training needs and adoption challenges across commercial teams.
  • Work with change manager to design a role-based training strategy aligned to Project Nexus objectives.
  • Establish a consistent Salesforce learning framework for Commercial users.
  • Create learning objectives, competency frameworks and success measures.
  • Develop training pathways for different user groups including:
    • Sales Representatives
    • Business Development Managers
    • Account Managers
    • Team Administrators
    • Commercial Leaders
    • Data Stewards
    • Super Users and Champions

  • Produce:
    • Instructor-led training content
    • Virtual training presentations
    • Quick reference guides
    • Process walkthroughs

    • Video demonstrations
  • Build training scenarios using real business processes and customer journeys.
  • Translate complex system functionality into practical day-to-day activities.

Salesforce Best Practice & Standardisation

  • Define and promote consistent Salesforce ways of working across Aurora.
  • Help embed consistent standards and behaviours that improve commercial effectiveness and reporting quality.
  • Establish best practice guidance covering:
    • Opportunity Management
    • Pipeline Management
    • Forecasting
    • Account Management
    • Contact Management
    • Activity Tracking
    • Data Quality
    • CRM Governance

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required attributes:

  • Extensive Salesforce experience in a Commercial enterprise
  • Understanding and demonstratable experience of Lead to Cash processes
  • Hands on delivery of training relating to new processes
  • The ability to be an advocate for change
