Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Salesperson role based in Hatfield, with flexibility for some work from home. The Salesperson will manage inbound and outbound sales activities, including responding to enquiries, following up leads, and converting prospects into customers across private and commercial sectors.   • Building and maintaining relationships with logistics providers, fleet operators, garages, dealerships, and other partners
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Preparing quotes
  • Negotiating pricing and terms within company guidelines
  • Accurately updating CRM and sales records

The Salesperson will collaborate closely with operations and customer support teams to ensure a smooth customer experience, meet performance targets, and represent the company at meetings or industry events as required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within automotive, roadside assistance, logistics, or related service industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, handle objections, and present services clearly to both individual customers and corporate partners.
  • Solid customer service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and a calm, professional approach in time-sensitive or stressful situations.
  • Competence with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools), and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with proven ability to work to targets, manage time effectively, and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid structure, attending the Hatfield office regularly and collaborating effectively with remote colleagues.
  • Understanding of or interest in fuel recovery, automotive services, or roadside support; willingness to learn the technical aspects of the company’s services.
