The group operates a network of Audi, Ducati, SEAT, CUPRA, Škoda, Volkswagen, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle retailers across six counties. In addition, Vindis Group runs two trade parts divisions in Bishop’s Stortford and Cambridge, along with a Head Office and Fleet Centre based in Huntingdon. As the business has expanded, it has maintained the core family values on which it was founded, focusing on long-term relationships, integrity, and quality service. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based at the Vindis Group retailer in Peterborough. The Salesperson is responsible for welcoming customers to the showroom, identifying their needs, and presenting suitable vehicles and services in a consultative, non-pressured manner. Daily tasks include managing customer inquiries, arranging test drives, preparing accurate quotations, and supporting customers through the entire sales process from initial contact to handover. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, following up leads, using the CRM system to record interactions, and working closely with the wider dealership team to achieve individual and team sales targets. The Salesperson is expected to uphold Vindis Group’s standards of professionalism, represent the brand positively, and contribute to an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

- Proven sales skills in a retail or customer-facing environment, with the ability to meet targets through ethical and consultative selling.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities, including active listening, empathy, and a focus on long-term customer loyalty.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with clear verbal and written communication and confidence in presenting information.
- Basic IT and CRM competencies, including comfort working with digital tools, email, and dealership management systems.
- Sound numerical and administrative skills to prepare accurate quotations, finance proposals, and documentation.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn brand and product knowledge.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dealership team while managing individual responsibilities and time effectively.
- A valid driving license suitable for test drives and customer demonstrations; previous automotive sales experience is beneficial but not essential.
