Role Description
The Salesperson will work full time, on-site at the Bathrooms by Harpers showroom in Olney, engaging directly with customers to understand their bathroom renovation needs and design preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role also involves coordinating with the design and installation team to ensure customer requirements are accurately documented and communicated, and that timelines and budgets are clearly set. The Salesperson will maintain showroom presentation standards, update product displays, and contribute to local marketing activities to attract new clients. This position requires consistent, professional communication and a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and understand client needs.
- Sales experience in home improvement, interiors, or a related field, including lead follow-up and closing techniques.
- Basic design appreciation and spatial awareness to discuss layout, materials, and styles confidently.
- Good organization and time-management skills to handle multiple enquiries, quotations, and appointments.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for proposals, emails, and customer updates.
- Comfort using computers and showroom systems for scheduling, quoting, and maintaining customer records.
- Ability to work on-site, including occasional weekend or evening availability as needed.
- Previous experience in bathroom, kitchen, or interiors retail is an advantage but not essential.
- High level of reliability, professional appearance, and willingness to learn technical product details.
