Can YOU get a business to contact us and allow us to give them an insurance quote for their business? Can you bring us business insurance enquiries?
YOU MUST:
- Speak English very well
- Present yourself well, smart, and professional
- Be friendly, confident, and approachable
Don't be fooled into thinking this is an easy role, because it isn't. You will contact some businesses that already have a relationship in place with their insurance provider and will not move away from them. You will contact some businesses that will tell you that their business insurance isn't due.
There are lots of businesses out there, however, that don't have a relationship in place with their current insurance provider and are willing to move. If you successfully refer over to us just one large business, and they end up becoming a customer of Coops Insurance, it could potentially earn you 1 year's salary - just in one sale! Think of the money you could earn and the reputation you can achieve working within the U.K insurance industry.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
